New PS3 Bundles On The Way
Sony might be slighting European gamers by not releasing the 80GB Ṕ that it did in the US and Canada but it is refreshing its bundles.
There are two new Ṕ bundles being readied for the European market. These include a special Gran Turismo 5 Prologue version which will launch alongside the game in the Spring. The pack includes the game, 40GB console and one Sixaxis controller.
The second bundle is a Movie Pack [pictured], with a 40GB console, single controller and three Blu-ray movies replacing the usual game: Spiderman 3, 300 and Casino Royale. Both bundles are expected to come in at the current price points.
The Movie Pack is interesting as it’s the first time that Sony has exclusively pushed the console as a HD movie player over a gaming device. With HD DVD out of the way, Sony’s expected to pull out all the stops to make us all Blu fans. Pity that doesn’t extend to cheaper players. Jump to see a shot of the Gran Turismo pack.-Martin Lynch
