HP gets glitzy with the Vivienne Tam designed Digital Clutch

Whether technology is seeping into the world of glamor or vice versa is for you to decide once you have had a look at the Digital Clutch Laptop designed by Vivienne Tam in collaboration with HP. Unveiled at the New York Fashion extravaganza, the ultra-chic HP Digital Clutch is in line with the flourishing HP 2133 Mini-Note, and is nothing short of a fashion model in itself.
From what we gather of the presentation aspects, the 10-inch netbook has a distinctly Oriental design – a flaming red outer case embellished with lovely pink and purple flowers. Even the “enter” key on the notebook bears the Chinese symbol for “double happiness”. Designer Tam says that her ideas behind this laptop are specially oriented towards creating the kind of “peace and tranquility that you get from being in a garden”.
Since little else is known about the other specs at this point of time, we hope that when the Digital Clutch shows up during Jan 2009, the intended double happiness comes to us in terms of both the specs and pricing.
